Medan - FKM USU: FKM USU achieved the runner-up at the 2nd Indonesian Public Health Olympiad (IPHO) held by the Association of Public Health Higher Education Institutions (AIPTKMI) on November, 8-9th 2023 at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, Jakarta. FKM USU Contingent succeeded in winning 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, 2 bronze medals, and 4 runners-up in various competitions held at the IPHO event. Gold, silver, and bronze medals were won in the Smart, Careful, Fast competition because all the finalists were from FKM USU. Other competitions that received medals were the Selection of Outstanding Students (silver) and the National Health Debate competition (bronze). Apart from that, FKM USU also won 3rd runner up and 5th runner up in the Smart, Careful, Fast competition; 3rd runner up in the Health Education Tiktok competition; 5th runner up in the National Stand Up Comedy competition. IPHO is a public health olympiad that aims to develop the quality of public health students in the fields of knowledge and technology, create a competitive and prestigious atmosphere in a healthy and fair manner, show the active role of public health students throughout Indonesia, and as a forum for honing the soft and hard skills of health students society at the national level. The target of this Olympiad is all public health students from universities that are AIPTKMI members in Indonesia. IPHO 2023 carries the theme "Shape Our Mind and Booster Our Curiosity to Strive Digital Public Health Competencies" by competing in 10 competition fields, including Public Health Information System Design, Health Program Planning, Health Policy Analysis, Smart Careful Fast, National Stand Up Comedy, National Health Debate, Scientific Writing, National Scientific Poster, Health Education Tiktok, and Health Education Video.
