Medan - FKM USU: FKM USU conducted an FGD on Improving Curriculum and Graduate Capacity in the Working World, Wednesday (29 March 2023). The FGD which was held online invited cooperation partners and users of FKM USU graduates, namely the Head of Bappeda North Sumatra Provincial, the Head of the Health Office North Sumatra Provincial, the Head of the Health Office Medan City, the Head of the Health Office Binjai City, Director of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Hospital, Director Hajj Hospital of North Sumatra Province, Director of Bunda Thamrin Hospital, Director of Mitra Medika Hospital, Director of Sembiring Hospital, West Regional AIPTKMI Management, Head of Occupational Health and Safety Center Medan, Head of Environmental Health Engineering Center Medan, Head of Port Health Office, Head of The National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) for North Sumatra Province, Head of the Population Control and Family Planning Office, Head of the Environment Office Medan City, Head of the Medan Food and Drug Supervisory Agency, Head of Social Security Agency on Health Medan City, National Social Security Agency for Employment Medan City, PT Aerofood Indonesia, and Head of West Medan Sub-District. The FGD was opened by the Dean of FKM USU Prof. Dr. dr. Ida Yustina, M.Sc. Before getting input from the FGD participants, Deputy Dean I, Dr. Umi Salmah, S.K.M., M. Kes. First, he explained the curriculum of the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program that is currently being implemented. The discussion activity was guided by the Head of Public Health Study Program, Dr. Ir. Evi Naria, M. Kes. where all of the FGD participants provided input related to the needs of graduate users for the competency of FKM USU graduates. This input will later become input in improving the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program curriculum so that the graduates produced can answer the challenges of the world of work which is constantly changing.
