Lecture at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara with a functional position as Head Lecturer in the area of Public Health Nutrition and interest in research on maternal and child nutrition, especially related to efforts to improve nutritional status and growth and development of children. Some research has been and is being carried out, namely the Effect of Vitamin B12 Supplements on Serum Levels of Vitamin B12 and Memorizing Ability  in Preschool Children (2018), Sweet Sweet Potato Biscuits Fish Catfish for Children Nutrition (2020), the model for overcoming anemia and chronic lack of energy in pregnant women is through giving cohi fish crackers and Moringa leaves with sweet potato-based ingredients (Kemendikbud 2018-2019 DRPM), Improving the quality of MP-ASi based on cooked banana flour which is varied with food sources of vegetable protein and animal (Ministry of Education and Culture's DRPM 2018-2020), Stunting management trough strengthening the Role of Posyandu and Utilization of Marine Food to Improve Mother and Child Nutrition in Central Tapanuli District (DRPM 2021, DRTPM Kemdikbudristek 2022)
