Research Profile
Lecturer at the Undergraduate Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara, with the focus field of study being Public Health Nutrition and an interest in research on nutrition issues in mothers and children, which includes nutritional problems in groups of pregnant women, nursing mothers, infants, under-fives, and toddlers, as well as efforts to overcome nutritional problems in these community groups in the form of community empowerment activities in the form of posyandu cadre training, development of local food product innovations in the form of MPASI, and nutrient-rich biscuits.

Research activities that have been carried out are:
  1. Overcoming Stunting Through Strengthening the Role of Posyandu and Utilizing Marine Food to Improve Nutrition for Mothers and Children in Central Tapanuli Regency (DRPM 2021, DRTPM Kemdikbud Ristek 2022)
  2. The effect of giving mocaf flour substitute cookies, red beans, and herbal chicken gizzard on weight gain for undernourished toddlers (2022)
  3. The effect of giving mocaf flour onion chips and Moringa leaves on Hb levels of young women at Darul Arafah Raya Islamic Boarding School, Deli Serdang (2021)
  4. Mapping the risk factors for stunting under five in Medan City based on geographic information systems (2021)
