Izzah Dienillah Saragih, SKM.,M.Epid, is a teaching staff at the Undergraduate Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara. She has an interest in the application of the concept of epidemiology in the field of Public Health, particularly regarding the epidemiology of infectious diseases, maternal and child health, and social determinants of health. Several titles of scientific publications that she produced include: "Prevalence of Skin Diseases in The Coastal Area of Teluk Nibung, North Sumatra", "Analysis of Input Indicators for Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Programs at the Health Office of North Sumatra Province", "Risk Factors of Malaria in Coastal Communities in Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency” (second author), “Low Birth Weight Based on Quality of Antenatal Care Services in Indonesia in 2012 (2012 SKDI Further Analysis)”, “Kuddu, a health belief of Leprosy among Madura Ethnic in Sapudi Island”. Currently conducting research on spatial analysis and risk factors for Tuberculosis in Children in Medan City. Through this research, there is a hope to contribute to the provision of scientific facts related to the mapping of major problems and identification of risk factors for tuberculosis in children, especially in the city of Medan.
