Research Profile
Irnawati Marsaulina is a Professor at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara, as a teacher and mentor to students in the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program and Master/Doctoral Study Program in Public Health Science. The research field she is engaged in is related to Environmental Health. The areas of research that have been carried out are:
  1. Research in 2018 "The Dominant Factors That Influence the Number of Malaria Cases and Alternative Control in Tanjung Tiram, Batu Bara District" which has been published in the international journal Turkish Journal of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.
  2. Research in 2019 "Potential of Coastal Ecosystems as a Habitat for Malaria Mosquito Larvae and Alternatives for Their Control in Simandulang Village, Tanjung Leidong Village, Kualuh Leidong Sub-District, North Labuhan Batu District in 2019" which was published at the international conference proceeding ICOSOP (International Conference on Social and Political Development).
  3. Research in 2020 "Personal Hygiene Analysis, Environmental Sanitation, and Skin Health Complaints in Inmates at Class IIA Medan Women's Correctional Institution" was published in the national journal Indonesian Journal of Medical Anthropology (IJMA).
  4. Research in 2021 "Study of Water Quality in View of the Physical, Chemical, and Broomstick Fish (Hypostomus plecostomus) in the Deli River, Medan City, North Sumatera Province" and has been published at the international conference proceeding PHICO.
