Head Lecturer at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara and focuses on the application of reproductive health and population sciences in the field of public health. Research that has been carried out focuses on the elderly. The following research has been carried out in recent years, namely:
- In 2020, carry out research in collaboration between the BKKBN and the Department of Population and Biostatistics 1 "Characteristic Analysis, Knowledge of family development, and implementation of family functions on family participation in the growth and development of children in North Sumatra."
- In 2021 with research on the "Prevalence and determinants of prehypertension and hypertension in the young adult population in the city of Medan."
